Go over EVERY part of the RUBRIC (if you lost

ADDS VALUE to the story and has a caption.

Put it in the correct order (on rubric) with one

Did you get rid of any repetition or unnecessary
information? (e.g. I woke up and got dressed…)

Make sure you have paragraphs – anytime there is
a shift – notes in composition book.

Imagery? (can we see, smell, taste, touch, hear
the action?) Show, don’t tell
